Writing employment-based policies and procedures can be daunting when it’s not your area of expertise. Often an area is missed, sometimes until it’s too late. Compliance with employment law is vital so you need to make sure you have the right policies and handbooks in place to protect your people and your organisation. You’ll want to start with a few key policies, but there’s often much more to consider: Managing Absence, Disciplinary, Grievance, Flexible Working and Family Leave - maternity, shared parental, adoption, etc and Using IT systems (incl. social media).
